International Cooperation and Research Activities
The Korean Society for Rehabilitation of Persons with Disabilities is affiliated with Rehabilitation International, which is composed of more than 200 member organizations for persons with disabilities and rehabilitation experts in 90 countries around the world. Our society has been conducting international cooperation and exchange activities, research and policy development activities, constructing a network of rehabilitation experts, etc., in order to actively participate in international trends of disability community and reflect it in domestic policies for persons with disabilities, to present new alternatives to policy for them, and to promote research activities of rehabilitation experts in Korea and organize a network of them through RI Korea.
Activities for Solving the Digital Divide
In order to create the barrier-free information society, the Information Resource Center for Persons with Disabilities provides specialized contents and increases linkage among organizations of/for persons with disabilities by operating the comprehensive network system, while it conducts various activities for solving the digital divide, such as home visiting program for person with severed disability, secondhand computer distribution program, information technology festival, etc.
Vocational Rehabilitation Publicity Activities
The Korean Society for Rehabilitation of Persons with Disabilities has been conducting the Publicity and Public Awareness Programs of "the Employment Promotion and Vocational Rehabilitation Fund for People with Disabilities" entrusted by the Ministry of Health and Welfare

Disabled-Person-First Campaign
The Campaign Council was organized by leaders representing various areas of society in May, 1996, for the purpose of forming an advanced welfare community in the 21st century. The Campaign Council aims to overcome prejudice and discrimination against disability and disabled people and to accomodate disabled people first who suffer inconvenience in community living.
Disabled-Person-FirstCampaign is a "sharing movement" participated in by the public and a campaign to promote a common environment through accommodating disabled people first.
