(legal basis of establishment)Based on Civil Law, Article No. 32 and Regulation for Establishment and Supervision of Nonprofit Corporations for Youth, Article No.4, we obtained a licence(Licence No.162, Dec 8, 1993) to establish an organization under the name of "Incorporated Association- Korea Kidney Association" from Ministry of Health & Welfare. We are a nonprofit foundation for the disabled with renal diseases (or for welfare of the disabled) promoting their welfare and rights and interests.
What we do.
- Registration of kidney transplant
- Promotion and Publication to change social perspective against kidney failure and organ donation into better one.
- Establishment and management of medical facility with hemodialysis center
- Welfare facilities for the disabled
- Promoting rights and interests of the disabled and cultivating amicable relationship between members
- Establishment of sisterhood relationship for each member
- Vocational rehabilitation programs for patients with renal diseases
- Rehabilitation exercise, cultural and art programs for patients with renal diseases
- Marriage counselling for patients with renal diseases
- Transportation service for patients with renal diseases
- International interchanges and cooperation among organizations of patients
- Educational and counselling program for patients and their guardians
- Lucrative business that can be helpful to improve welfare for patients with renal diseases
