KFPD is a foundation for the disabled which was initially established as the first private foundation in the country with Fund for the Disabled supported by Disabled People's Welfare Card project, upon interest and enthusiasm of all the disabled and their organizations.
- In 2001, government decided to launch Welfare Card for vehicles owned by the disabled, which would function like a regular credit card and have a discount benefit for LNG, and selected LG Card as a business partner. - When they started the business, LG Card made a commitment that they would take out certain portion from the total sales amount and build a fund for the disabled in the spirit of sharing. In 2004, in hopes and wishes of every disabled person in the country, KFPD finally started out as a foundation that would take an important part in the road of improving abilities of the disabled and increasing their rights and interests.
