DPI Korea(Disabled Peoples' International Korea) was established in 1986 and started operating as a member of DPI and its representing organization of Korea. It has been trying to introduce and promote an advanced perspective for the disabled, which has been well-recognized internationally, and activities implicating those new ideas in our lives in Korea. The concept of "Disability and Human Rights", which now is widely used in the country as a guideline to solve important issues regarding the disabled, is one of the most successful examples showing what the organization has achieved so far.
